It is with immense gratitude that New East West Academy presents our end-of-the-semester public speaking showcase! It has been an honor to work with such talented students, who have a range of personalities and experiences that truly shine on stage. From helping quiet students find their voice to advancing the skills of our top performers, our students have shown strong growth.
Here, you can see Hailey presents her topic with body language and uses her own drawings, Isaac employs eye contact and smiles, Lawrence uses a strong voice and hand movements, and Mason engages the audience while teaching them about Michael Jordan. Further, Nicole carries herself with confidence and a focused attitude, Sophia demonstrates body language and perseverance, and Wesley discusses the intricacies of his topic with minimal notes.
