Amidst the children’s laughter and joy, the New East West Academy’s 2026 Summer Camp officially kicked off and successfully wrapped up their action-packed first week of classes!
This summer, we not only retained our highly popular Afficient Math & English, Chess, Public Speaking & Debate, Art, and Chinese classes loved by parents and students, but we also launched a brand-new AI Robotics course. Furthermore, we’ve added an English Writing class and a PreK-K Sing-and-Dance Immersive Bilingual course with childcare. Over the past week, children have learned and played, absorbing knowledge, experiencing technology, building courage, and making new friends in a bilingual environment!

🤖 AI Robotics Lab
With the official launch of the New East West Magikid AI Robotics Lab in Las Vegas, our AI Robotics summer camp gained immense popularity within its very first week! The theme for week one was “Animals of the Earth”. Here, children no longer sit dully in front of screens; instead, they get hands-on experience building and controlling robots, combined with cutting-edge AI technology, using nature to explore science. Seeing the children cheer for their self-designed robot projects, we deeply felt the charm of technology enlightenment.
🎤 Public Speaking & Debate
Focused on overcoming the pain points of “being afraid to speak” and “not knowing what to say”, this course provides comprehensive, targeted training in expression skills. After just the first week of basic public speaking practice, some originally shy children have already overcome their psychological barriers, bravely stepping up to the podium to present themselves with confidence.
✍️ Writing Class
We help children build clear writing frameworks, from reviewing basic grammar to constructing complex passages, and from creative writing methods to academic editing techniques. We guide them step-by-step to write thoughtful, logical, and well-argued essays, cultivating excellent writers and confident communicators.
📈 Afficient Math & English
Prevent the “summer slide” and get a head start on the new school year! We use the smart Afficient learning system to customize curriculum for each student, filling knowledge gaps, laying a solid foundation, and achieving rapid improvement. By combining the advantages of AI with offline teacher tutoring, we seize the summer vacation for precise enhancement!
🇨🇳 Chinese Learning & Consolidation
New East West’s Chinese classes have always been highly trusted by parents. Whether you want systematic learning in reading and writing or zero-foundation speaking and listening practice, we have the right class for you! This summer, we continue to offer 1st Grade Crash Course; Grade-level Advancement Classes; HSK & AP Chinese Prep Classes; and Adult Chinese Classes. We’ve also added Chinese character typing to the curriculum, enabling students to practically use Chinese on top of listening, speaking, reading, and writing.
🎵 PreK Sing-and-Dance Immersive Bilingual Class + Childcare
Here, you’ll find joyful nursery rhyme rhythms, adorable physical expressions, and highly creative interactive Chinese character games. Children naturally embark on their Chinese enlightenment journey with joy. At the same time, we create a safe and loving environment for children to develop good study and life habits, enhancing their social and cooperative skills with peers.
♟️ Chess Class
Taught personally by the professional national champion coach who led us to sweep the Nevada elementary and middle school team championships! Many beginners joined in the first week, training their logical thinking and big-picture strategy on the black and white chessboard. They solved puzzles from famous historical chess games, followed by practices that prepare them for tournaments.
🎨 Art Class
In this week’s artistic exploration, colorful creations were continuously brought to life: children not only used vibrant paints to depict a refreshing Summer Ice Cream and Spider-Man, but also used acrylic markers to lay out a lively Summer Flowers piece, and further sketched a playful Mushroom through delicate line drawings. In upcoming classes, we will also feature a series of exciting sessions including gouache, watercolor, acrylic paints, and digital drawing.
Next week, our AI Robotics course will take the children “from the land to the sky”! Uncover the mysteries of flight: deeply explore the mechanical principles of animal flight in nature; hands-on simulation practice: children will personally assemble and transform complex mechanical principles into vivid simulated reality; cutting-edge 3D modeling: through digital modeling, they will personally design their very own “flying machines”.
